The Florida Crime Information Center is a resource that is provided by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement with the purpose of providing, both for the citizens of Florida and for other persons with Internet access, the opportunity to help law enforcement agencies throughout Florida locate missing/stolen property, missing persons, and people that are wanted as a result of ongoing criminal investigations.

However, it should be noted that the Florida Crime Information Center deals only with records, persons, and missing items from Florida.

The home page of the Florida Crime Information Center can be located at http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/pashome.a, although we will explain each element of the website and how you can use it to help Florida law enforcement organizations.

Missing and Wanted Persons

An element of the Florida Crime Information Center website that will likely benefit many people is a database that allows anyone to search for individuals that are currently wanted as part of an investigation in Florida. Located at http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/person/displayWantedPersonsSearch.a, you are able to input as much information as you have in order to search a database of Florida wanted persons. However, the information provided by this website should not be trusted as a complete resource for active arrest warrants, or even of an indication that individuals listed therein are even wanted for involvement in criminal activity. Before acting upon anything you find in this database, be sure to consult all of the warnings and stipulations located at the link above.

A similar tool is available at http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/person/displayMissingPersonsSearch.a that deals with persons that have been reported missing by family, friends, or other loved ones in the state of Florida. As with the Wanted Persons Search, please take care to read all of the caveats and details listed.

Missing and Stolen Property

The website for the Florida Crime Information Center provides a suite of tools that will allow you to locate and report goods that have been stolen or have gone missing. Before acting on any of this information, please consult your local sheriff’s office to verify the status of the missing item.

For missing or stolen vehicles, use the search form located at http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/item/displayVehicleSearch.a.
